Post by StLedge on Thu Jul 04, 2013 9:14 pm

Despite the Topic title, this has nothing to do with keeping an eye on John Terry or Ryan Giggs.

Ok, so let's keep up to date on who is In and who is Out, where they have come from or gone to and for how much.

Alan Judge - Unattached - Free
DJ Campbell - QPR - Free
Devarn Green (Youth) - Burton Albion - Undisclosed Fee
Chris Taylor - Unattached - Free
Alex Marrow - Unattached - Free
Simon Eastwood - Portsmouth - Free

OUT

Danny Murphy - Who Cares - Contract Terminated
Nuno Gomes - Released - Contract Terminated
David Goodwillie - Loan - Dundee Utd

Jordan Rhodes has told Sky Sports News he has no plans to leave Blackburn Rovers.

The Scotland striker was a big success in his first season at Ewood Park and scored 28 goals despite a difficult campaign for the Lancashire club.

A turbulent 18 months has seen Rovers relegated from the Premier League and then have four managers in a single season - but Rhodes believes the good times are now just around the corner.

"I'm very settled, it's a terrific football club as you can see here - tremendous fans, everything about it," said Rhodes.

"I enjoyed a good year last year, everyone was fantastic with me so - for as long as I'm welcome - I'm a Blackburn Rovers player."

Seems like a decent down to earth bloke. A guy on the Rovers group on FB approached Rhodes and Dunny to sign a shirt (not the latest) for his late father to wear at his funeral and he mentioned that JR was genuinely sorry for his loss and signed the shirt and put RIP, as did Dunny!

Yeah, it really confused me for a second when StLedge referred to him as 'JR'. That still means Jason Roberts in my mind.

Looks like Spearing might be back in talks...after turning us down in favour of staying in the PL and then again because he'd rather go to Bolton.....

Barry Bannan is set to kickstart his career at Blackburn after falling out of favour at Villa.

Bannan, who has one year left on his contract, was ideally hoping to stay in the Premier League, but the Championship club have registered a strong interest in the 23-year-old midfielder.

Villa had high hopes for Bannan when he came through the Bodymoor Heath academy ranks and made his debut as a substitute in a UEFA Cup defeat at Hamburg in December 2008.

But after 50 league and cup starts and 33 sub appearances, scoring two goals, he has been deemed surplus to requirements by Paul Lambert and has been training away from the first team squad.
