Cheapskates... or good value?

Post by Rover the Sea on Tue Aug 02, 2011 7:53 am

Heard a report about Premier league prices on the radio this morning and this is where it came from, I haven't been to Ewood yet but am interested to know how accurate these reports are, surely the likes of Norwich, Swansea and QPR will struggle with those prices??

It's not often that you can get an adult matchday ticket for a tenner. You can once in a while when they've got a special offer or something on, but normally the cheapest ticket is about £17.

I'm guessing a "pinch of salt" has to be used with those figures, especially for the pies Very Happy

The B class fixtures are always a tenner. I ended up going to a bunch of them last year. Of the ones I went to Wigan, WBA and Bolton were all a tenner. Blackpool tickets were around £19 each. If I recall correctly the Birmingham, Wolves and West Ham games were also a tenner. The programmes were £3, so that's right. Can't remember how much I paid for a pie.

Oh right, fair enough. Shows I haven't bought a matchday ticket for over three seasons. Laughing
