Petrolheads are sad! Just have to watch Top Gear to see that.

So much for your cycling thread, which is my main mode of transport, that and my "plates of meat".

I have a car, which I bought new 4 years ago, and it has clocked 17,000 miles... just!

What's the question here? Is it favourite car? 'Cos in that case it's the Jaguar E-type from '61.

So much for my cycling thread??? just because no one else appreciates it and is just generally negative i won't give up and when Le Tour starts i will give regular updates...i like it and thats fine by me...and as for the sweeping suggestion that Petrolheads are sad i think that is a very narrow minded view and ever so slightly offensive,i like this forum and try to encourage some debate and banter,i know it's not appreciated but hey if it's not what people want then ban me cheers

I'd probably care more if I could actually afford to run a car.

What you're all essentially saying is that even if you won the lottery you have no interest in your personal transport....i find THAT sad Laughing

If I won the lottery, the last thing I'd do is worry about personal transport, that (my legs) is attached to my waist no matter how rich I am. I don't do the lottery anyway, I couldn't cope with riches that fell on me unearned and would give the most of it away if it did happen...

The ONLY car to have here is an SUV of some sort. What I'd really like is an old Land Rover, one of the original shaped ones.

I didn't really follow what was going on, but I posted that I'd like an old Land Rover and you said to delete the thread directly after as if my post had come across as sarcasm. :/

I'm not really fussed about cars, as long as it get's you to where you want to be. Even If I won the lottery I wouldn't buy a brand new car as the depreciation is stupid, also I'd probably go for something economical rather than something that would burn fuel for fun.
