Right, my sister is in a competition to win a laptop, its a short story competition and if she wins I get her laptop which is only 6 months old.

I can't, in good conscience, vote for any story other than Jessica Lynn's heart-rending epic about "Benny the big blue bus". It's a truly masterful piece that captures the character of our times, delivered with a flair for prose you rarely see in a 9-year-old.

The joie de vivre with which the author paints the scene and her deployment of sophisticated literary devices draws my attention far more than your sister's 'rabbit-like' "wide-eyed, twitching" nerves.
