Christmas

Post by Guest on Wed Oct 21, 2009 11:38 pm

Just heard an advert on TV with "All I want for christmas is you" playing on it, think it was for DFS or something. Christmas lights in Leeds were put up on the 1st October, fair enough they haven't been turned on yet but they are still visible.

Bloody ridiculous. I haven't even switched to my winter coat yet. Stop trying to get me to stimulate the economy. I'll do my shopping on the 23rd December like I normally do.

If you'd posted this on Facebook I'd have 'liked' it. As you posted it here, I must show my total agreement in another way.

Well said, Wils.

Fucking dead right, I hate all that Christmas shite with the preposterous commercial build up to the whole thing.

My solution is the best one I feel - live in a muslim country. 🐷 🐷 🐷 🐷

Just no pigs to eat.

What's wrong with shopping on the 24th?

I love xmas
time off work, just give 1 gift for my missus for bday and xmas
the only thing that annoys me is the same movies they put on over xmas, bond, back to the future, superman, gremlins etc

24th is for trying to wrap the bloody things, getting annoyed, going to the pub for numerous hours, then returning to complete the job whilst rather quite drunk

Its not even cold yet, maybe it has something to do with me being such a tightwad that I didn't turn on my heating once last winter and have now adjusted to cold weather. Or maybe it is due to my parents being Geordies. And taking my shirt off wouldn't be fair to the other fans

I aint completely against it. I would prefer to spend the money on clothes for myself than have to pretend to like the tat my family buys me and I imagone the same applies for them. I also enjoy the time off work and it falls partcularly well this year. I just don't like having it rammed down my throat in October. (it being christmas, before the jokes start)

I bet he was pretty pissed that his birthday was on the same day as Christmas

EDIT: It would make more sense if Jesus was an extra terrestrial

I am definitly with wils on this one, they start the music and the adverts and the decorations far to early. Let it start in December so the bulid up is fun.

Over here in Spain they don't celebrate until the Coming of the three Kings on the 6th of December so it goes on even longer.

It's November, you know a week after Guy Fawkes.

Will Christmas kindly fuck right off.

Already Wilbsanta has had a restraining order taken out on him by X Factor Burke.

My neighbour is currently up a fucking ladder putting an illuminated ladder on his bloody roof for an illuminated santa to climb up. The only upside is that by the time the twat finishes with his tacky crap, I don't have to heat the house.

Piss off Christmas, oh and shove these:
