Been watching it all afternoon. Higgins had too much class for Joyce and strolled to a 5-1 win. In the other game Mark Davis put it in a great display of snooker to dump Marco Fu out 5-4.

Latest scores from the evening games:

Selby 1-1 Doherty
Perry 3-1 Campbell

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Some cracking games lined up there. None more so than Higgins v O'sullivan. Ronnie was shit by his standards yesterday and if he doesn't get his head right today he will be out. Williams v Hendry will be a good tussle, I will be keeping my eye on the Maguire v Ding game.

Super match so far between Higgins and O'Sullivan. Currently 3-3, it's anybody's guess as to who is going to win it.

Higgins levels it at 4-4. Into the deciding frame now. What a thrilling match it has been.

Higgins sends Ronnie crashing out by winning the final frame. Good, Ronnie deserves that because his attitude stinks.

Today's quarter final lineup:

QUARTER-FINALS (best of 9 frames)
[Latest] John Higgins (Sco) 3-1 Mark Allen (NI)

[Latest] Joe Perry (Eng) 1-3 Neil Robertson (Aus)

[Fri 1900] Mark Williams (Wal) v Robert Milkins (Eng)

[Fri 1900] Peter Ebdon (Eng) v Ding Junhui (Chn)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Damn I'm going to miss the Ebdon v Ding match tonight because I'm going to be at the snooker club, why couldn't that have been an afternoon game? Sad

I hope Ding gives that boring bastard a hiding.

Absolutely unbelievable how Mark Allen has lost this frame. He was on a break of 73, all he needed was the red with the rest. It was an easy roll in but he played a careless one and missed it leaving Higgins requiring 2 snookers and a total clearance. Higgins got the snooker and a free ball and cleared up. What a sickener, I would be livid with myself if that was me. Higgins leads
4-1, tough ask now to see Allen coming back from this.

Yeah TBH, it could have been a different story had he made it 3-2. It's all over now, Higgins has won 5-1.

In the other game it is:

Robertson 4-1 Perry.

Just need Ding and Williams to get through now to make it a cracking semi final lineup.

Robertson finishes off with a break of 103 to go through to the semis. Robertson 5-1 Perry.

I wanted Hendry to win too yesterday Tbh. It would be great to see him win a few tournaments this campaign to almost re-live his glory days. It wasn't a great game yesterday though and Williams had that bit extra. I'm glad Ronnie is out though, he bloody deserves it for the bullshit he comes out with pre and post match.
