It's the gaping holes that can ruin a career, they should be airtight or you'll just end up sinking.

The Summer of '42 & The Last Picture Show both from 1971. They're both coming of age movies which I remember from years ago as being excellent and Mrs. Rover confessed to having never watched either of them a situation which had to be redeemed. They're both still very good and have certainly stood the test of time, the Picture Show has a young Jeff Bridges in and features some excellent scenes where the older guy who runs the pool hall shares knowledge with the young teenagers. Also the backdrop to both of them is excellent, in the first case Nantucket Island and the second some desolate, no hoper, dusty Texas town creating just the right mood.

7.5 & 8 respectively.

I haven't read the book, either. So is the book good? 'Cause if the book's shit then the film being as good as the book wouldn't be a good thing.

He said, "it's good, as is the book", not "it's as good as the book", which is where I'm guessing you got confused.

Not really a fail. I'm guessing the lack of a comma threw you off. So in theory, your eyes and brain were prepared for good English, and when you came up against a mistake, you misread it.

Easily done.

arover is happy. He lives in a villa in Turkey, he's retired, and he spends his days watching movies, listening to music, reading books and swimming in his pool. I'd say he's pretty fucking happy, the shit. Mad

Oh, and he has amazing stories about banging chicks and getting pissed. I love you
