He's one of the best actors of the last 20 years, in my opinion. Do you hate him because you were forced to watch Romeo & Juliet for GCSE English, or because all the fresh pussied girls wanted to shag him? Because I used to hate David Beckham for that same (latter) reason, and then I realised that was rather silly.

Titanic is indeed wank.

The Basketball Diaries (no, it's not about basketball), Blood Diamond and Gangs of New York are three unbelievable performances from Leo, though. Proper actor, that lad.

I didnt like Blood Diamond that much, but that may have been because it was on on a 24 hour bus journey to Spain and I was knackered.

Has anyone seen the film 'Public Enemies'?

Yeah, I thought it was alright. Expected it to be better, but Depp does a decent John Dillinger and there's plenty of good acting throughout the film. I felt it was a bit drawn out, though. They could've cut 20 mins off it quite easily.

I liked it a lot, but then for some reason Johnny Depp has that talent of being completely different in every movie he's in... and can act in many different style, from Dillinger, to Captain Jack to Willy Wonka etc.

One of the better 30's gangster films in my opinion

Yup, JD is in my top 5 actors alongside Leo.

However, I have a serious hatred for Nic Cage and Keanu Reeves - both terrible, terrible 'actors'. I can't bear to watch films with either of them in, but sometimes have to give in if it's had good reviews or has someone in it that I like.

Keanu Reeves - Matrix is the only one really

Nic Cage - I like quite a few of his films, National Treasure, Knowing etc. The Wicker Man was shit though

I like Christian Bale films though. The new Batman films and Equilibrium are great!

He is nearly as versatile Jason Statham, that man is practically a master of disguise.

To be fair RD, there are more of us than there are of you. (not including Walter Samuel, Mr Bean or the other WS who I believe to be slightly jaundiced.)

Jason Statham is another one who I can't abide. Can't do a Yank accent for shit, and hasn't been in a half-decent film since Snatch, and even in that he was just being himself.

This week I watched

Everythings Fine with De Niro and Barrymore, very good film, bit of a sad one but definitely worth a watch.

Precious, really good film based on a true story.

Never saw Bobby De Niro doing a film about the death of Stuart Lubbock at that gay pool party. I bet that's a fairly interesting watch actually.

I've just read a short review of it, apparently there's a few gaping holes in the script that let it down.
