If it was me I'd go to Nottingham, but whatever suits your situation.

They suit my situation...but it's whether I suit theirs that matters. Wink

(Well, you'll end up there. I'll get a big fat rejection Sad)

I'll need a miracle. I haven't sent stuff off yet, but I need to pull an A Physics (currently on a B) and an A in Maths (currently on a C, but I ballsed it up and my strongest exams are coming in Jan).

I know for a fact (almost, I guess if you died it'd be different) that you'll do really well wherever you go. Just remember that regardless of 'standard' curriculum, the name of your uni matters more than you think. Liverpool uni has a pretty great rep, but Nottingham is surprisingly well represented, too, as well as being in a much better (if you can deal with the yardies) area of the country. Liverpool is tiresome. I worked there for a few months when I was younger, and I found it to be very draining in terms of what you deal with day to day. Everyone's different, so my experience may not matter, but I think your mindset is scarily close to mine in many ways, despite your youthful existence.

Nottingham has a high rep for being a "Russell Group" Uni I think.

It has a surprisingly high high pass rate.

Awkward sentence.

Facebook has been down for a long time over this side of the pond. I can't do much daily work without Facebook, so this is a wage-affecter for me. However, it's much fun watching people panicking and scrambling around looking for something to do, like they've forgotten how to live an actual life outside a News Feed. There's already stories about how it's gonna disappear, etc. It won't, but this is a pretty big deal in the world of communications.

So, Prince Harry is in Jamaica today and nobody could understand why I was refusing a press accreditation to go and take pictures of him. He's already looked like a total nob prancing around the track with Usain Bolt, yet all the girls are creaming themselves over the little ginger Nazi. People have short memories, as this is the same bloodline that enslaved thousands of Jamaicans back in the day. When people blame "white people" for slavery, that's a bit much...none of MY ancestors were slavemasters, but this little fecker...different story.

That's where you live? Fucking hell. That's probably the most beautiful place in the whole country. Real ice cream, fish & chips, and cheese. Mmmm...
