The defender has not played for Rovers since January 2 after asking for a move in the January transfer window. Blackburn refused to sanction a move and Samba was fozen out and ordered to train with the reserves. But the 27-year-old was welcomed back into the fold on Monday as he joined members of the first team and reserve squads in being put through their paces by Kean and his assistant Eric Black at the club’s Brockhall HQ. Samba's return will be huge boost for struggling Blackburn as they prepare to face Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday.
